President Trump has said he would like to put people back to work by Easter. Health professionals say coronavirus would likely kill up to 2 million people in the U.S. in a worst-case scenario if left to continue without social distancing. On Sunday, President Trump yielded to advice from health professionals and said he will extend the social distancing guidelines until April 30. Previously, the president had said he would consider ending them by Easter. “Nothing would be worse than declaring victory before the victory is won,” Trump said. Earlier Sunday, Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said more than 100,000 Americans could die from coronavirus.
